We are ready for the 2010 season to begin. The Symphony committee has put together some great bands along with special activities to keep all of us entertained. So get ready for a tradition of live music, dancing barefoot in the grass and enjoying the company of your friends and neighbors in Hoyt Park. It just doesn't get any better than that.

There is one item we need to discuss with you.

Our donations are down (Yikes!) and Symphony could really use your help. All your donations are tax-deductible according to our new non-profit tax status 501(c)(3). Unlike some non-profits, this is an all-volunteer organization so 100% of your donation goes into concert operations and promotion. Well almost 100%. Just like last year, we will be giving donations to the SRHS and Marshall Middle School music departments. It's a good cause and they could use our support.

Our newest level, called the Directors, is for estate trusts, grants and music lovers with a lot of extra cash. These donations will be placed into a special account, where only the interest will be used, never the principle. Our goal is to get these concert series to be self-funded in the future.

Please give what you can. It will be appreciated and you will have our thanks. Download the pdf donation form below and mail that check in, then get ready for some good music this season.
